Creed, your posts are valid but you won't get support from alliances that are allied with goons since they are all caught up in the mob mentality goons have created vs. bob. They are too blinded in their hatred of bob to hear anyone say anything bad/valid about their allies goonswarm.
Soon enough their heads will clear...

The average member of Goonswarm is a nice enough guy, just trying to play the game. Goon also has a number of high-profile posters who post the most insane smack and horrendously tasteless jokes. Goon leadership in my experience is very levelheaded and cool to work with even though we are no longer blue to them.
I am sure every ally of Goons realizes they have some very tasteless posters, but decided its not that important.
You know, there is a different between not seeing and not caring. Paraphrasing Kissinger (I think):"They may be bastards, but at least they're our bastards".
I agree with most of the post to be honest. I've met some level headed, and hilarious goons. Unfortunately the majority of posts and talk I've seen from goons is pretty tasteless. And their public image is certainly not one that appears to respect other players or the game itself (whether any of us or the game deserves it, I guess you decide for yourself).
I guess it really comes down to where you want to draw the line personally. As you said, its a question of whether you choose to care or not. That and whether the ends justify the means.
